About Mastering Motion PT
Every patient is a person, and every person deserves thoughtful, skillful care when recovering from pain or injury. While true mastery in any craft is never fully finished, it is always worth pursuing. At Mastering Motion Physical Therapy, that pursuit guides how we approach every patient and every session.
Our model of care is intentionally different from many traditional clinics. Each session is spent entirely one-on-one with your physical therapist, allowing every evaluation, treatment, and exercise plan to be tailored to your individual needs. Care is designed around the whole person—not just a body part—and delivered with patience, collaboration, and respect for your unique experience.
We partner with our patients to restore strength and mobility while building a deeper understanding of how their bodies move and function. By combining clinical expertise with your lived experience, priorities, and goals, treatment becomes both more precise and more meaningful.
During your 60-minute evaluation and 45-minute follow-up sessions, you receive focused, individualized care that addresses not only symptoms, but the underlying drivers of pain and movement limitations—helping you recover fully and return to the activities that matter most.
The goal is not simply short-term relief, but lasting improvement in how your body moves and feels.
Meet Your Therapist
Hi, I’m Kim, the owner and founder of Mastering Motion Physical Therapy. I'm a board-certified orthopedic physical therapist with nearly a decade of clinical experience. I provide one-on-one, movement-focused care for adults managing pain, injury, and complex conditions. My clinical focus is orthopedic rehabilitation, and I am currently pursuing additional specialized training in pelvic health with an emphasis on pregnancy and postpartum care. Although orthopedic and pelvic health physical therapy are often treated as separate specialties, they are deeply interconnected. Musculoskeletal injuries, movement patterns, core function, and pelvic health frequently influence one another. Integrating these areas allows me to assess the whole person rather than isolated symptoms, leading to more thorough evaluations and more precise treatment strategies.

Philosophy & Values
What I enjoy most about this work is helping people reconnect with their physical potential and enjoy being in their body again — whether that means returning to daily activities without pain or progressing toward demanding performance goals. Supporting that process is one of the most rewarding parts of being a clinician.
I combine careful assessment, hands-on therapy, and thoughtfully chosen exercise to help people restore comfortable, efficient movement. I aim to provide you with physical therapy that goes beyond simply reducing symptoms and instead helps you understand your body and build lasting strength and resilience. Because when you move better, you live better. And we all deserve that.
